Delhi Kitchen, Aundh

My husband tells me that he's been visiting this place since it was more of a dhaba. Over the years it has turned into a restaurant, moved to a new location, but the taste still remains as always! This outlet is at the dead end on the kotbagi hospital road. We've always been there for dinner and the road seems like an untreaded one with almost no traffic or pedestrians to be found. But don't get scared, at the end of the road, you find this awesome outlet/restaurant which is still comparatively small but has a very good taste and very good service as well. We have quite high expectations for food and service when we go to a restaurant and most of the times return home disappointed. But I must say this is one safe bet over the years where we can go without a second thought. The food is amazing and so is the service. I would recommend this place for a pocket friendly lunch/dinner with family, friends, roommates or whoever you can think of!

House of Parantha

We were in the city for some work and had planned to have dinner when we return home. It was late with the kids, so thought of trying out house of Parantha. Rainy season, congested road and no dedicated parking was a pain. We had to wait for around 20 mins to get a table in a place bustling with college crowd. Ordered a variety of Paranthas which were all good in taste. The seating area was below average, but was targetting for students with pocket friendly menu. They are famous for their Bahubali thali which comes with a 22 inch parantha. Most of the tables could be seen occupied by groups of 4-6 people, all sharing this giant parantha from the same plate. Conclusion: pocket friendly, tasty parantha. Not really a place to go with family or your own car.
