Eating

We planned to go out for lunch during office hours and majority being maharashtrians and non vegetarians, voted to go to wah Marathi in seasons mall located in Hadapsar. It is walking distance from our office, so we preferred walking and talking to the restaurant. It was Christmas season and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. We were comfortably seated. There were good non veg options while the veg options were limited. Veg thali was a good option and had a wide variety ranging from welcome drink, 2 starters to 3 veggies, Dal, rice, chapati, raita, 2 desserts and siders too. The staff was courteous , but the service could have been better.

We wanted to have a get together with hubby's friends (with their families), and were looking for a place somewhere in the city where it's easy to access for all. We then finalised barbeque Nation located in Kalyani Nagar as it was convenient for all to travel there. We were 3 families with 5 kids. A table for 10 was reserved in advance. We reached the restaurant by around 7.15pm for dinner. They have a early bird discount applicable for guests reaching till 7.30pm for dinner. The grills were placed, starters were served. We ordered for some drinks and finger foods for the kids. The waiters also got us pizza and a complimentary cake. The starters, main course, drinks and the desserts were all delicious. The ambience was sophisticated and lively while the service was absolutely fantastic. The servers made sure they took care of every little thing that they could. It was a happy and a memorable experience going there.

My habit of trying new outlets took me to this place called Malgudi Station, located in Baner. The online reviews were good and the pictures were beautiful. We reached there for dinner. They have space for parking unlike other restaurants in that area. The place was nice, with courteous staff but the dishes/food was not upto the mark. The presentation was no where near to what was uploaded online and the taste was not wow. To make it more clear, the place serves South Indian dishes.
