Discovering MTR Beyond the Ready-to-Cook Packs
Whenever someone mentions MTR, the first thing that comes to mind is their famous ready-to-cook mixes sitting proudly on supermarket shelves. From rava idli to upma, MTR has been a household name for years. So, discovering that they also run restaurants came as a complete surprise to me. A few days ago, while visiting Bhartiya Mall of Bengaluru, I spotted an MTR restaurant on the ground floor and instantly decided to give it a try. A Busy Sunday Breakfast Spot We visited on a Sunday morning, which is usually the ultimate test for any breakfast place. The restaurant was completely packed — always a good sign when it comes to South Indian food. Despite the crowd, the place was impressively clean, organized, and had a warm, welcoming vibe. The aroma of freshly brewed filter coffee and crispy dosas filled the air, making the wait absolutely worth it.
