Anna Idli

Seldom there's a restaurant where we do not have to get into an argument with the staff. Anna Idli win our hearts on this front. We went there for a weekend dinner and had to wait for around 7-10 minutes before a tale was available for us. On entering, I liked the outdoor seating better than the indoor one. We had to again wait for another 5 minutes to get a table outdoor. The waiter was a short and smiling guy. We initially ordered for paper masala dosa and onion rawa dosa. The service was quick despite the fact that it was a weekend and lot of rush and also deliveries were quite high too. Both the dosas tasted fantastic. They served a coconut chutney, onion chutney and a khajur chutney with the dosa.

For the second serving, we ordered a Anna special dosa and a cheese plain dosa for my little one. The Anna special was recommended to us by our waiter and it blew is away. It was full of butter and had an awesome taste. It made us feel too full. The cheese plain dosa was okay, but was nicely for and covered with lot of grated cheese. I loved it because I am a cheese love and more because my kid enjoyed it to the core.

I ended up with a filter coffee, something that I prefer not to miss in a south indian restaurant. I felt the coffee to be a bit too sweet, but can't say much as I really can't say how an authentic filter coffee tastes like.

Overall we were really too happy with the service, taste, ambience and everything else.

We plan to go back to have their 4 inch long dosa😋

Aaoji khaoji is a small restaurant located in Bopodi, Pune. They are on the street connecting Aundh to Khadki and boast about their authentic Punjabi dishes. Their menu has a vast variety of thali options, a whole range of paranthas, snacks, beverages. Their actual outlet is under renovation, so right now they are operating from the adjacent shop. We got ourselves seated on the first floor. They are famous for their thalis. We ordered a aaoji khaoji special tandoori thali. We were too hungry and took nearly 20 minutes for the order to arrive. The presentation of the thali was very good. The thali had 3 garlic naan, 3 tandoori roti, 2 missi roti, rice, salad, papad, raita, gulab jamun, kheer, fruit lassi, chhole, rajma, paneer, aloo ki subzi, tur Dal, Dal makhani, white butter. 3 adults and 2 kids shared it and we were all absolutely full on finishing it up. Everything was perfectly done and it all tasted yummy. All of us enjoyed the food there.

Sukh Sagar restaurant, Munnar

After a long day of sight seeing in Munnar, we were quite hungry. While going back to our hotel (Blu haze resort) from the blossom park, we spotted this pure veg restaurant by the name of Sukh Sagar and decided to stop there. They had North Indian as well as south indian dishes available. South indian dishes being limited though. We ordered a North Indian thali, a few dishes from the south indian cuisine and had a heartful dinner. The waiters were good in taking orders and getting them fulfilled. After dinner, we also ordered for strong coffee and we got nice coffee too. Post the strong coffee, we were settled for the day. We went back to the hotel and relaxed to prepare for the next day.

Pizza Hut, Calangute, Goa

Kids and adults are always in for pizza alike. So when the kids demanded pizza for dinner, everyone was happily ready for it. There was a pizza hut outlet few metres away from our hotel. We dropped in there and got a comfortable round table sofa seating. We waited for our order to be taken. No one was willing to take the order, most of the items.on the menu were not available and the service was very slow. Whatever was ordered the first time, that was it. We did not have the courage to order again and again wait for ages for the order to arrive. The kids were already tired and sleepy. We finished the pizzas and garlic breads and returned back to our hotel. That specific outlet needs to boost up their image and service.
