Namah, kalewadi

This is one pure veg restaurant that we've been going to since years and luckily it never disappoints. I generally don't like to repeat restaurants so as to try out new options.

So, it started with promotions and reviews of Universal BBQ all over the social media and it attracted me to try it out. Moreover their 50%off offer was luring enough. We planned to give it a shot and booked a table for Saturday. The booking didn't get confirmed and we got to know that quite late in Saturday. Still hubby insisted on walk-in and I agreed, but was not keen though. While driving to BBQ , we were able to connect with them through phone and understood they are jam packed not just for Saturday lunch but for the entire weekend.

This took us to our all time favourite Namah. The ambience is soothing and their entire food preparation is just delicious. They have a set buffet menu for the weekends.

They had tomato soup and manchow soup and both of them were just yummy. My 6-month old relished the tomato soup as it is.

For starters, they served paneer tikka, veg croquettes and spring rolls. All of them were nicely done, only the paneer tikka was not too warm.

The main course comprised of 2 vegetables, dal, rice, breads, pasta, noodles, salad, raita. It was good and. enjoyable. Desserts included a yummy vanilla ice cream, awesome jalebi, boondi laddo which was dry and a very flavourful kalakand/barfi.

On the whole, the entire spread was upto the mark and worth the price.
