Nawab Asia, Baner

We wanted to go out for a weekend dinner. After searching a lot of options and going through the reviews online, finalised Nawab Asia located in Baner.

We reserved a table on call and reached the place on time. The restaurant in located on balewadi high Street. There are a lot of restaurants and cafe all around the place and have a common parking for all of them with valet service.

We entered the restaurant and were given a nice place with sofa seating. I prefer sofa seating as it's easier and comfortable for my 1 yr old.

The place is nicely done and has a beautiful interior. The manager and the staff are helpful and attentive.

We started placing our order. For soups, we ordered tomato soup, which was synthetic and disaster in taste while the manchow soup was good in taste.

For starters, we had ordered for peeli mirchi Ka paneer tikka and that wasn't great either.

Still, moving ahead we ordered for main course that included paneer makhani , veg bhuna masala and bread basket. The main course was quite good especially after the lowered expectation from soup and starters.

We were also able to click some nice pictures inside the restaurant while waiting for our order to be served. Not because the service was slow, but because we were ordering it at our comfort.

The soup and starter wasn't upto the mark, but still a nice evening spent with family.

Aaoji khaoji is a small restaurant located in Bopodi, Pune. They are on the street connecting Aundh to Khadki and boast about their authentic Punjabi dishes. Their menu has a vast variety of thali options, a whole range of paranthas, snacks, beverages. Their actual outlet is under renovation, so right now they are operating from the adjacent shop. We got ourselves seated on the first floor. They are famous for their thalis. We ordered a aaoji khaoji special tandoori thali. We were too hungry and took nearly 20 minutes for the order to arrive. The presentation of the thali was very good. The thali had 3 garlic naan, 3 tandoori roti, 2 missi roti, rice, salad, papad, raita, gulab jamun, kheer, fruit lassi, chhole, rajma, paneer, aloo ki subzi, tur Dal, Dal makhani, white butter. 3 adults and 2 kids shared it and we were all absolutely full on finishing it up. Everything was perfectly done and it all tasted yummy. All of us enjoyed the food there.

Sukh Sagar restaurant, Munnar

After a long day of sight seeing in Munnar, we were quite hungry. While going back to our hotel (Blu haze resort) from the blossom park, we spotted this pure veg restaurant by the name of Sukh Sagar and decided to stop there. They had North Indian as well as south indian dishes available. South indian dishes being limited though. We ordered a North Indian thali, a few dishes from the south indian cuisine and had a heartful dinner. The waiters were good in taking orders and getting them fulfilled. After dinner, we also ordered for strong coffee and we got nice coffee too. Post the strong coffee, we were settled for the day. We went back to the hotel and relaxed to prepare for the next day.

Pizza Hut, Calangute, Goa

Kids and adults are always in for pizza alike. So when the kids demanded pizza for dinner, everyone was happily ready for it. There was a pizza hut outlet few metres away from our hotel. We dropped in there and got a comfortable round table sofa seating. We waited for our order to be taken. No one was willing to take the order, most of the items.on the menu were not available and the service was very slow. Whatever was ordered the first time, that was it. We did not have the courage to order again and again wait for ages for the order to arrive. The kids were already tired and sleepy. We finished the pizzas and garlic breads and returned back to our hotel. That specific outlet needs to boost up their image and service.
